  • Onion

    Repels aphids, weevils, carrot flies, moles, fruit tree borers; Controls rust flies and some nematodes; protects tomatoes against red spiders. Protects roses from black spot, mildew and aphids. Planting chamomile and summer savory with onions improves their flavor.

  • Oregano

    Repels cabbage butterfly. Can be used with most crops. Repels cabbage butterflies and cucumber beetles.

  • Pansy

    Rye influences 100% germination of Pansy.

  • Parsley

    Deters asparagus beetles.Improves growth. Deters carrot flies and rose beetles. Parsley increases the fragrance of roses when planted around their base. Useful for protecting tomato plants as the wasps that kill tomato hornworms also eat nectar from parsley.

  • Parsnip

    Attracts a variety of predatory insects. The root also contains Myristricin, which is toxic to fuit flies, house flies, red spider mite, pea aphids.

  • Peanut

    Encourages growth of corn and squash.

  • Peas

    Adds nitrogen to soil for use by hungry corn plants. Grows well with carrots, turnip, radish, cumcumber, beans and potatoes.

  • Pennyroyal

    Discourages ants, plant lice, cabbage maggots. Note: Highly toxic to cats.

  • Peppermint

    Repels white cabbage moths, aphids and flea beetles. It is the menthol content in mints that acts as an insect repellant. Attracts Bees.

  • Petunias

    They repel the asparagus beetle, leafhoppers, certain aphids, tomato worms, Mexican bean beetles and general garden pests. Acts as a trap crop. Plant everywhere.
